PRE 9 - Singapore - IHM Church - 28 to 31 August 2008

Hi Brothers & Sisters in Christ and Fellow PRE-Graduates.

It was great to know all of you in PRE-9 at the IHM Church(28 to 31 August 2008).

My wife, Patricia & I, have been juggling with work & family. We missed greatly the weekly community gathering where 5~6 MPC couples with their families meet at Dr. Victor & Vivienne Wee's house a few years back.

Due to our lack of time, we have lost touch with the great friends whom we got to know and shared fellowship over the years.

Sometimes it pains me to think that should anything happens to me or my wife, we won't have close friends to lend us a shoulder to cry on or to journey with us.

My wife and I have been thinking of who can babysit our three kids and who will attend to my clients. We prayed very hard. Praise God! The Money Tree preview was cancelled and my colleagues and mother helped to babysit. Our mind was at ease and we could fully concentrate during the PRE-9 sessions.

For me, whenever my course/training ends, it's not the END but rather it's a START. It applies to this PRE-9 too! It's the beginning of our spiritual growth.

While juggling with cooking, doing household chores, my 90% home-based job, the kids, etc. ... I started this Blog and re-starting our Daily Family Prayer Session - as part of the Evangelisation steps which I pledged at the last session of the PRE-9.

Remember Linda & Malcom who shared 2 sessions on Sat & Sun? Linda who is my wife's colleague came to our house today. We were invited to her house tomorrow so that our kids can play together.

Fast....right?!!

Our family - Patricia & I, and our 3 children - Grace (13yr), Alfred (11yr) & Michelle (8yr), would like to extend our friendship to you, and together we can journey and live out our faith.

Oh yes! One thing that I wanted to say during our sharings, but just couldn't find the time or opportunity -- we must not let our "sufferings" or "crosses" from all the difficult situations "go to waste". We should offer them up to Jesus, so that it can be put to "good use" for others. How? You may ask ... it's another story ... watch out for it.
